There are several ways to become part of the HERITAGE BAPTIST CHURCH family. 

 One way to become a member of Heritage is by accepting Christ and presenting yourself to the congregation for baptism.  During the hymn of invitation, after the sermon, you are encouraged to move forward to speak with the pastor about your decision to follow Christ.

Another way is by transfer from another Baptist church. During the hymn of invitation, come forward to speak with the pastor about your desire for membership.

And, yet another way to join is by statement of faith in Christ, having been at some previous time a member of a Baptist church or a congregation that functions in the same way as a Baptist church.  If you were associated with another denomination and experienced believer's baptism by immersion, with the counsel from the pastor and/or deacons, you are welcome.  Again, come forward during the hymn of invitation and express your desire for membership with the pastor.  

Everyone coming for membership will be asked to attend the pastor's class.  This class will cover what it means to be a Christian, a Baptist, and a member of Heritage Baptist Church.  Everyone is invited to join us for this exciting journey of faith.
