HBC Women joined forces to help the construction of the Habitat for Humanity's Clay Street house. Read on for a report from Lynn Keckler.
On May 3rd, the Heritage women painted our way through the day on our house, the 100th Arundel Habitat home on Clay Street. Donna and Melissa Manuel, Frankie and Heather Morehead, Carol Lee, Janet Dulin, Jeannine Salyers, Mary Ann Fulford, and Liz and Lynn Keckler (along with the of 2 Habitat supervisors and the owner, Lorraine Williams), were able to get the entire house painted. It was HARD work, but very rewarding.
We are 2 months away from the dedication of the 100th Arundel Habitat house that Heritage is helping to build. Put July 19th on your calendar and plan to attend this very special event.
Workers are needed on these dates:
June 7th- College and Career Day (5 workers needed)
June 21st- Heritage Baptist MENS Day. 8 MEN are needed for this date. Heritage will be providing lunch for our men on this day as well.
Sign up sheets are on the Habitat bulletin board by the lounge. See Lynn Keckler if you have any questions.
