The white rose on the communion table is in memory of Keister Adams who passed away on February 2nd. Keister was the husband of Ann Adams and an active member of Heritage Baptist Church for 60 years.

Wednesday's dinner will be a special Valentine's meal. If you do not have a permanent reservation and plan to attend please fill out the dinner reservation form listed on the bottom of the worship registration, or by calling the church office on Monday.
Our Adult Choir will begin rehearsing our Easter musical, entitled "How Can It Be," this Wednesday from 7:15 to 7:45 p.m. If you are interested in singing, you are invited to come and participate, whether or not you are currently a choir member. For more information, contact Ralph.
The Men's Prayer Breakfast will take place this Saturday, February 14th, at 8 am. A delicious meal will be prepared by Everett Golihew and Tom Antonielli. The guest speaker will be the love doctor, who has an interesting and entertaining presentation. Guys, bring your wife or girl friend for a time of good food and fellowship. If you plan to attend, please sign up on the bulletin board across from the office.
The youth will travel to Hospice of the Chesapeake in Edgewater this Saturday for a "Tea and Cookie" party. All youth are asked to arrive at the church at 12 noon to bake sugar cookies. They will leave for hospice at 1:30 pm and should be back at the church for parental pick up at 4:45.
Celebrate Mardi Gras in Great Taste! Join us today at the Marriott Annapolis Waterfront Hotel for the Gumbo Fest 2009. All proceeds benefit the Light House Shelter. Local and regional chefs host this annual gumbo contest. Attendees judge the best in town! Festive Mardi Gras favors will be given away and entertainment is provided by Mama Jama. The cost is $15.00 per person or $25.00 per couple.
Arundel Habitat for Humanity is looking for a few good...Red Hats! Red Hats are volunteers who serve as construction leaders on the build sites. They receive specialized training to equip them to oversee and supervise volunteers. No experience is necessary and training will be provided.
