This evening beginning at 6:00 with a Fellowship Dinner and Evening Service at 7:00, we will host an evening with Dr. Keith Jones. There will be a meal for all attendees and after the meal Dr. Jones will speak about the core values which evangelical believers hold and from which their Christian lives find expression. He will specifically explain how these core values challenge him in his leadership of the International Baptist Seminary in Prague and how the seminary attempts to ground students in these values during their studies. Additionally Dr. Jones is working with the Baptist World Alliance and is in our area this week for meetings.
The Deacons will meet tomorrow evening at 7 pm.
The youth will be attending the Christian Youth Night hosted by the Baltimore Blast this Friday, March 6th. The bus will leave the church at 6:00 p.m. After the soccer game, the Christian Band, Thousand Foot Krutch, will perform a free concert.
We are having an encore presentation of our "Music inventory party" this Saturday, March 7, at 10:00 a.m. in the choir room. We will be meeting for fellowship and refreshements as we count the various items of sheet music in our library, at the suggestion of our insurance friends. Music ability is not required!
The Men‘s Prayer Breakfast will take place on Saturday, March 7th at 8 am. A delicious meal will be prepared by Everett Golihew and Tom Antonielli. The guest speaker will be the traveling Bible salesman. Please sign up on the bulletin board across from the office.
Next Sunday, March 8th, Carol Hill will be our guest in the morning worship service, where she will present a dramatic monologue with music entitled "The Nameless Woman." Carol is from Lynchburg, Virginia; she will be accompanied by her husband David.
Remember: Daylight Saving Time begins on March 8th. Be sure to spring forward.
On Sunday, March 15, our church will be hosting the Chowan Singers from Chowan University (North Carolina), who will be presenting a concert at 7:00 p.m. Following the concert there will be an ice cream fellowship. Make plans to attend.
Copies of the Church Directory for 2009 are available on a table in the narthex. We request one directory per family.
Help! Help! We are in desperate need once again for help in our nursery, two and three year olds and four and five year olds extended session time during the worship service. Lead teachers as well as assistants are needed. The only qualification needed is your love for children. If you would be willing to help with this important ministry, please contact Amy Henry, 410-257-5298, or email her at

OUR MISSION
We believe Heritage Baptist Church exists to be a beacon reflecting God's unconditional love in Annapolis and surrounding communities. Using the Bible as our guide, our purpose is to share the Gospel message so that others may become followers of Jesus Christ and to provide an environment that facilitates the strengthening of believers. Each member, like every disciple of Christ, is commissioned to be faithful in the worship of God, Christian ministry, and fellowship with believers. We will continually look to God for power and direction to chart our course.
