Fellowship: Following the morning worship service everyone is invited to step across to the fellowship hall where light refreshments will be served.
If you are interested in seeing the Annapolis Summer Garden Theatre's presentation of "Copacabana" please sign up today. Twenty tickets have been reserved for this Thursday's performance and a sign up sheet is posted on the bulletin board by the church lounge. Tickets: adults $18.00; seniors, students and groups of 20 or more $15.00. Show time is 8:30 pm and you are asked to be at the theatre by 8 o'clock. Checks should be made payable to ASGT and given to Tom Antonielli.
If you are a Sunday School teacher, worker, extended care worker, or van driver you and a guest are invited to attend the shipwreck dinner this Friday, from 6-8 pm, in the church's fellowship hall. Dress is what you were wearing when the ship wrecked!! We want to thank you for your dedication to the Lord's work in Sunday School. Please come and enjoy an evening of good food and fellowship. Please RSVP to the church office by Monday, August 17th. Child care will not be available.
Our Wednesday activities for the Fall will begin on September 2nd. The schedule is as follows: 5:45-6:30 pm - fellowship dinner; 6:30-7:15 - Prayer Meeting;6:30-7:15 - Children's Programs; 6:30-7:15 - Youth Fellowship; 7:15-8:30 - Adult Choir. This year the dinners will have a new format and the costs will be as follows: Youth/Adults - $5.00; (Children (6-11) - $1.00; Preschoolers - no charge; maximum per family $14.00. (First time guests - no charge). Everyone must make a dinner reservation by marking the appropriate place on the worship registration form, or by calling the church office on Monday. If you held a permanent reservation in the past, a new one must be made.
Backpack Buddies program is preparing for the 2009-2010 school year, working with Georgetown East Elementary School. Food items which can be eaten from the package/can or easily prepared in the microwave may be used. The program is designed to supply food items for elementary school children who may otherwise not have sufficient food over the weekends. The donation container will be in the narthex on Sundays and in the office during the week. Monetary donation checks should be made payable to Heritage Baptist Church designated for "Backpack Buddies." For suggested food items please read the article in the September Herald.
Heritage Baptist Church Frogs is a Christian based club for children from infancy to five years of age. The goal is to provide fun and age appropriate activities for our children. Their first event will be a beach party at Hillsmere Community Beach this Saturday from 11 am - 12 noon. For directions or more information, please check the bulletin board across from the church office, or speak to Julie Golihew.

OUR MISSION
