Our Wednesday evening activities for the Fall will begin on September 2nd. The schedule is as follows: 5:45-6:30 pm - fellowship dinner; 6:30-7:15 - Prayer Meeting; 6:30-7:15 - Children's Programs; 6:30-7:15 - Youth Fellowship; 7:15-8:30 - Adult Choir. This year the dinners will have a new format and the costs will be as follows: Youth/Adults - $5.00; (Children (6-11) - $1.00; Preschoolers - no charge; maximum per family $14.00. (First time guests - no charge). Everyone must make a dinner reservation by marking the appropriate place on the worship registration form, or by calling the church office on Monday. If you held a permanent reservation in the past, a new one must be made. During the 6:30-7:15 time slot, children's choirs and missions groups will be offered in alternating blocks. Missions will begin on September 2nd through October 7th.
The new Sunday School year will begin on September 6th. If you are not now in a Sunday School class, why not consider joining one! The classes are for all ages from the very youngest to the very oldest.
Our Sunday evening activities will begin on September 6th except for Youth Bible Study and Fellowship which begins next Sunday, August 30th. During the 4:00-5:00 time slot, Handbells and Orchestra will be offered in alternating blocks (Handbells will begin on September 6th). The schedule is as follows: 4:00-5:00 - Orchestra/Handbells; 5:15-6:15 - Youth Choir; 6:30-8:00 - Youth Bible Study and Fellowship.
Backpack Buddies program is preparing for the 2009-2010 school year, working with Georgetown East Elementary School. Food items which can be eaten from the package/can or easily prepared in the microwave may be used. The program is designed to supply food items for elementary school children who may otherwise not have sufficient food over the weekends. The donation container will be in the narthex on Sundays and in the office during the week. Monetary donation checks should be made payable to Heritage Baptist Church designated for "Backpack Buddies." For suggested food items please read the article in the September Herald.

OUR MISSION
We believe Heritage Baptist Church exists to be a beacon reflecting God's unconditional love in Annapolis and surrounding communities.
