Today the Handbell Choir will rehearse from 4:00 to 5:00 in the choir room.
Our Youth Choir will begin its rehearsals today at 5:15. This is open to youth from 6th through 12th grades. A snack supper will be served following the rehearsal. Come and be a part of this.
The Church Office will be closed tomorrow in observance of Labor Day.
English as a Second Language (ESL) begins this Thursday, at 6:30 pm.
The Mission Committee will meet this Thursday at 7 pm in the church lounge.
Dr. Walter (Buddy) Shurden, founder of the Center for Baptist Studies at Mercer University, will be at Heritage next Saturday and Sunday, September 12th and 13th. The Mid-Atlantic CBF invites you to a morning with Dr. Shurden. He has been described as a "(distinctively Baptist) church historian, teacher, preacher, author, Baptist apologist extraordinaire." The meeting schedule for Saturday is as follows: 9:00 - Continental Breakfast; 9:45 - Missions reports and brief business session; 10:25 - combined MACBF Choir; (if you would like to be part of this choir come at 8:30 for a short practice).10:30 - presentation by Buddy Shurden, followed by a question/answer time. On Sunday, Dr. Shurden will meet with all Adult Bible Study classes at 9:15 in the chapel. Coffee and donuts will be available. Dr. Shurden's topic will be "The Generosity Cycle" a presentation on stewardship. He will be the featured speaker at the 10:30 morning worship service. His sermon title will be "One of the Greatest Joys of All." Nursery care is available for Saturday and Sunday but please contact the church office so adequate staffing is available.
Amy Henry, Nursery Coordinator, would like gently used (clean) or new toys for our nursery. The age requirement is birth to 24 months. If you have toys you would like to donate, please bring them to the church office, or call Amy at 410-257-5298.

OUR MISSION
We believe Heritage Baptist Church exists to be a beacon reflecting God's unconditional love in Annapolis and surrounding communities.
