We are delighted to have Carol Hill in our service this morning. This evening she will present a concert of spirituals. The concert will be at 6:30 pm in the chapel. There is no admission charge. Come and plan to have a good time!
The Nominating Committee will meet today a 5:30 pm.
The Deacons will meet tomorrow evening at 7 o'clock.
This Wednesday's dinner will be an Italian meal served by Chef's Everett Golihew and Tom Antonielli. The menu includes salad, meatloaf, scalloped potatoes, green beans, and brownies. If you are not already on the permanent dinner list, please make your reservation today by filling out the proper place on the registration form, or by calling the church office tomorrow so the cooks know how many to prepare for.
It's time for Christmas! This Wednesday night, October 7, we will begin our rehearsals on our Christmas musical. Everyone is welcome to sing with us, even if you don't normally sing in our choir. Rehearsals will be from 7:15 to 7:45 every week. If you have any questions, contact Ralph.
The Trustees will meet on Thursday at 7 pm.
A beginner's digital camera workshop will take place this Thursday from 6:30-8:30 pm. Come and learn everything about your camera. A sign up sheet is posted on the bulletin board by the lounge.
A Men's Prayer Breakfast will take place this Saturday at 8 am. The guest speaker will be Chaplain Chase Woods of the Anne Arundel County Detention Center. Ladies, you are also invited. In order for the cooks to know how many to prepare for a sign up sheet is posted on the bulletin board across from the church office.
If you are a middle school youth and plan to attend the "ALIVE" Conference in Ocean City November 20-22, please let Patricia know today!
CROP WALK (Communities Responding to Overcome Poverty) will take place on Sunday, October 18th, at 1:30 pm, at Quiet Waters Park. The cookout starts around 1 o'clock. Walkers and sponsors are needed. For more information check the bulletin board by the church office and see Clair Morehead for a walker's packet.
On Sunday, October 25th, Heritage Baptist Church is having a Craft Fair. It will take place immediately following the morning worship service. Get a jump on your Christmas shopping and plan to attend this event. There will be unique gifts and a snack fellowship. The homemade crafts will be on display and this will be a fun time for all. At least ten participants are needed for this to take place. If you have crafts you would like to sell or display, please use the insert in the bulletin and place it in the offering plate or leave it in the church office.

OUR MISSION
We believe Heritage Baptist Church exists to be a beacon reflecting God's unconditional love in Annapolis and surrounding communities.
