October is World Hunger month.  All money collected  goes to Baptist World Aide.  Please give generously by using the envelope found in your boxed offering envelopes or one in the pew rack and mark it accordingly.

 CROP Walk for world hunger will take place today at Quiet Waters Park.  If you are a walker please meet at the Sassafras Pavilion.  A cookout will start at 1 pm followed by the send off at 1:30.  If you are a sponsor and paying by check please make it payable to CROP and give it to one of the walkers.  Cash is acceptable.

 This Wednesday the cooks will be serving roast pork with sauerkraut, baked potatoes, green beans, apple sauce and brownies for dessert. 

 You are invited to come and enjoy a Church Family Game Night this Friday from 6:30-8:30 pm.  It will take place in the youth room.  Board games will be provided or you may bring your own.  Billiards and ping pong will be available and snacks will be provided.

 The HBC FROGS will have a party this Saturday from 10 am to 12 noon in the fellowship hall. 

 Next Sunday, October 25th, we will have a Craft Fair in the fellowship hall following the morning worship service.  Homemade crafts will be on display and there will be a snack fellowship. If you have crafts you would like to sell or display, please let the church office know by Wednesday, October 21st.

 Copies of the Treasurer's Report for September are available on a table in the narthex.

 Cookies are needed for our Fall Fun Fest.  If you can help with this please bring them to the church office by Wednesday, October 28th, marked accordingly.   

Calling All Scrap Bookers!!  Do you need time to work on your current project?  Do you need inspiration or an idea for a new project?  Then this class is for you!  It will take place on Thursday, October 29th, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.  Come and work on your current project or create some wonderful Halloween themed items with our featured project.  A sign up sheet is located on the bulletin board by the church lounge.

 Our Fall Fun Fest will take place on Saturday, October 31st, from 10 am - 12 noon.  Children of all ages will enjoy "trunk or treating," Dan the Magic Man, the pumpkin patch, games, prizes, hay rides, moon bounce, face painting, picture taking, popcorn, hotdogs, cookies, apple cider and more. Your help is needed in all areas!  Please volunteer today to help with this important outreach ministry. The sign up sheet is located on the bulletin board across from the church office.

 On Sunday, November 1st, immediately following the morning worship service, there will an important meeting of all parents of youth to discuss PASSPORT for 2010.
