The Backpack Buddies program is actively serving twenty-three children now and thanks to your support we are able to continue providing food for these children to cover weekends and brief school holidays.  If you are interested in working with the committee, please give your name to the church office, Jeannine Salyers, Frankie Morehead, or Mary Ann Fulford.  Serving on the committee could entail planning the menus, purchasing supplies, filling bags, or delivering the food on a rotating basis.  Generally, the food is delivered to the school on Thursday morning.  This takes little time but the blessings are abundant.

A Reminder: Daylight Saving Time ends next Sunday, November 1stRemember to fall back Saturday night and enjoy an extra hour of sleep.
