The Deacons will have their first meeting of the new year tomorrow evening at 7 o'clock.

Our Wednesday evening activities will resume this week. Our cooks will be serving salad, meat loaf, macaroni and cheese, vegetable and dessert.

The Knit Chics will resume this Thursday, January 7^th, at 1 pm.

The Trustees will also meet this Thursday at 7 pm.

Mark Your Calendars!  On Sunday, January 10^th, 2010, our All-Committee Night will take place.  After a light supper is served in the fellowship hall at 6 o'clock, we will divide into our areas of responsibility.

January is the month when the Heritage Learning Center begins registration for the 2010-2011 school year.  Children who have reached their 2^nd, 3^rd, or 4^th birthday by September 1^st are eligible for enrollment.  Members of Heritage Baptist Church have priority registration from January 3^rd to the 10^th.  After this date, registration is open to returning students and new students.  If you are interested in enrolling your child in the Learning Center, please act early to avoid disappointment as the classes do fill rapidly.  The registration fee is waived for children whose parents are members of HBC.

The Men's Prayer Breakfast will take place on Saturday, January 9^th, at 8 am. There will not only be good food and fellowship, but Mike Irwin, Tax Consultant, will be the guest speaker.

Saturday, January 9^th, Youth Ice Skating at Quiet Waters Park, from 1-3 pm. Lunch will not be provided for this event, so please eat before you come, however the church will provide some snack food options.  Please be prepared with $10.00 to cover the costs of skate rentals and admission: skate rental $3.00, admission $6.00, group admission of 10 plus people $5.00.  Please sign up on the youth bulletin board outside the chapel as soon as possible.

OUR MISSION

We believe Heritage Baptist Church exists to be a beacon reflecting God's unconditional love in Annapolis and surrounding communities.  Using the Bible as our guide, our purpose is to share the Gospel message so that others may become followers of Jesus Christ and to provide an environment that facilitates the strengthening of believers.  Each member, like every disciple of Christ, is commissioned to be faithful in the worship of God, Christian ministry, and fellowship with believers.  We will continually look to God for power and direction to chart our course.
