Special Business Meeting called for Sunday, January 31, 2010 immediately following the morning worship service. The Music Committee recommends that the church authorize a campaign for the purchase of new hymnals for our sanctuary. The hymnal to be purchased is Celebrating Grace: Hymnal for Baptist Worship, due to be launched on March 7, 2010. Individuals will have the opportunity of purchasing one or more of these hymnals for our church in honor/memory of loved ones. This campaign will begin February 1, 2010. The cost of a hymnal is $15.00 and our goal is 300 by Easter Sunday, April 4, 2010. Ralph Manuel is a member of the Celebrating Grace Hymnal Committee and two of his hymn tunes are included in this hymnal. Our current hymnals were purchased in 1993 and we will continue to use them in our chapel.
Financial Reports: The Treasurer's Report for December 2009 and a balance sheet for the year ending 2009 are available on a table in the narthex.
Soup-er Bowl Sunday to Benefit Shelter. Heritage will be hosting a Soup-er Bowl fundraiser for the Annapolis Light House Shelter on Sunday, February 7th, immediately following the morning worship service in the fellowship hall. Chef Zach Pope will prepare a selection of soups, salad and dessert. Admission is free, but donations will be requested to benefit the Shelter.
Job Opportunity: One Sunday a month for those who are willing to shape the future and influence history. No degree or prior experience necessary. All you need is a positive attitude. The starting salary is negotiable, but the retirement benefits are out of this world. If you would be willing to give one hour of your time to help in Extended Session, please contact Julie Golihew at

OUR MISSION
We believe Heritage Baptist Church exists to be a beacon reflecting God's unconditional love in Annapolis and surrounding communities. Using the Bible as our guide, our purpose is to share the Gospel message so that others may become followers of Jesus Christ and to provide an environment that facilitates the strengthening of believers. Each member, like every disciple of Christ, is commissioned to be faithful in the worship of God, Christian ministry, and fellowship with believers. We will continually look to God for power and direction to chart our course.
