A Special Business Meeting will take place today, immediately following the morning worship service. The Music Committee is recommending that the church authorize a campaign for the purchase of new hymnals for our sanctuary. The hymnal to be purchased is Celebrating Grace: Hymnal for Baptist Worship, due to be launched on March 7, 2010. Individuals will have the opportunity of purchasing one or more of these hymnals for our church in honor/memory of loved ones. This campaign will begin February 1, 2010. The cost of a hymnal is $15.00 and our goal is 300 by Easter Sunday, April 4, 2010. Ralph Manuel is a member of the Celebrating Grace Hymnal Committee and two of his hymn tunes are included in this hymnal. Our current hymnals were purchased in 1993 and we will continue to use them in our chapel.
The Deacons will meet tomorrow evening at 7 o'clock.
The Mission Committee will meet this Tuesday at 7 pm.
Wednesday's dinner the cooks will be serving Chili Pon Pie, Tossed Salad and Fruit Cobbler.
Easter is coming! (In just nine weeks.) And in preparation, our Adult Choir will begin working on our Easter cantata this Wednesday, February 3. If you like to sing, you are welcome to be a part of this special Cantata Choir. Rehearsals are every Wednesday from 7:15 to 7:45 pm.
The Trustees will have their meeting this Thursday at 7 pm.
The Men's Prayer Breakfast will take place this Saturday at 8 am. Rev. Charles Barnes will be the speaker. In order to know how many to prepare for a sign up sheet is posted on the bulletin board near the lounge.
The Red Cross Blood Drive will take place at Heritage Baptist Church on Monday, February 8th, from 1-7 pm, in the fellowship hall. If you would be willing to give a pint of life-saving blood or help with this event or make brownies, please speak to Ida Russell.
Financial Reports: The Treasurer's Report for December 2009 and a balance sheet for the year ending 2009 are available on a table in the narthex.
Individual Records of Contributions for the year 2009 were mailed. Every person supporting the work of the Lord through Heritage Baptist Church should receive one of these forms showing all financial contributions. If you ought to receive one and did not, of if you find an error, please contact Edie Stucker.
We are working on the 2010 Church Directory. If there are any additions or corrections, please let the church office know. Thank you!

OUR MISSION
We believe Heritage Baptist Church exists to be a beacon reflecting God's unconditional love in Annapolis and surrounding communities. Using the Bible as our guide, our purpose is to share the Gospel message so that others may become followers of Jesus Christ and to provide an environment that facilitates the strengthening of believers. Each member, like every disciple of Christ, is commissioned to be faithful in the worship of God, Christian ministry, and fellowship with believers. We will continually look to God for power and direction to chart our course.
