The Red Cross blood drive will take place here on Monday, June 21st, from 1-7 pm. If you would be willing to give a pint of life-saving blood or to help with this event, please speak to Ida Russell.
The Senior Adults will have their picnic on Tuesday, June 22nd, at 11:30 am, in the fellowship hall. Meat and cheese platters and drinks will be provided. You are asked to bring a side dish or dessert. Following the meal, Jane Willingham will entertain us with “Funny Reminiscences” from her past. Also give some thought to any “picnic memories” you may have and we will have a time of sharing. In order to know how many to prepare for a sign up sheet is posted on the senior adult bulletin board. Please indicate whether you will bring a side dish or dessert.
Children’s Vacation Bible School volunteers are still needed! Please see Everett Golihew or Brandi Eckert to get in on this annual outreach and let God use your time and talent for our children. Don’t forget we’ll need everyone (even floaters) at the all volunteer’s meeting scheduled for Sunday, July 11th, immediately following the morning worship service. We’ll feed you, answer your questions and get you armed with prayer for the week of July 19-23.
Our Independence Day Celebration, Sunday, July 4th, will take place immediately following the morning worship service. Come dressed for a picnic as we study the Bible, worship and celebrate the birth of our nation with pony rides, fun, food and activities. The picnic will take place on the church grounds. The cost is $5.00 for youth and adults, $1.00 for children and a maximum of $15.00 per family. Hamburgers, hot dogs and pulled pork barbecue will be provided. You are asked to bring a couple of your favorite foods to share (vegetable, salad, dessert), and your lawn chairs or blankets.
Heritage has expanded its VBS to include 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. This exciting new adventure on the High Seas will take place from 6:00-8:30 pm during the week of July 19-23. Don’t miss this opportunity to experience the blessings of VBS designed especially for youth. If you’ve never been able to volunteer because you work, please consider helping with this evening event. Registration forms are available in the church office. If you have questions, please speak to Tracey Cogliano.

OUR MISSION
We believe Heritage Baptist Church exists to be a beacon reflecting God’s unconditional love in Annapolis and surrounding communities. Using the Bible as our guide, our purpose is to share the Gospel message so that others may become followers of Jesus Christ and to provide an environment that facilitates the strengthening of believers. Each member, like every disciple of Christ, is commissioned to be faithful in the worship of God, Christian ministry, and fellowship with believers. We will continually look to God for power and direction to chart our course. The following persons have been called to serve as leaders and enablers by the congregation.
