The Red Cross Blood Drive will take place in our fellowship hall tomorrow afternoon from 1-7 o’clock. If you would be willing to donate a pint of life-saving blood please sign up with Ida Russell today.
The church’s November business meeting will take place this Wednesday at 6:30 pm. Among other matters the election of deacons will take place, the 2011 budget will be presented and recommendations from the Visioning Task Force.
All Advent Devotionals are due in the church office by this Wednesday, November 17th.
Next Sunday, November 21st, we will gather-to-gather for our annual church-wide Thanksgiving Dinner Celebration. It will take place at 6:00 in the fellowship hall. Chef Zachary Pope will prepare the turkey and ham with all the trimmings. You are asked to bring vegetables, salads, or dessert.
Backpack Buddies are in need of 16-18 ounce jars of Peanut Butter. The county food bank has been out of it for a couple of months and the discount store where we shop only sells the 40 ounce jars, much too heavy for a child’s backpack. We have some but need sixty-six (66) more jars between now and the Christmas holidays. If you can help with this need, please place the jars in the donation containers in the narthex or in the hallway outside the church office. Both containers are marked “Backpack Buddies.”
If you knitted scarves for the “Backpack” children, please bring them to the church office. Thank you!
If you have an item you would like included in the December newsletter, please bring it to the office by Friday, November 19th.
Food Pantry Distribution: Tuesday, November 16 – Deborah Lake and Thursday, November 18 – Jean Mitchell.

OUR MISSION
We believe Heritage Baptist Church exists to be a beacon reflecting God’s unconditional love in Annapolis and surrounding communities. Using the Bible as our guide, our purpose is to share the Gospel message so that others may become followers of Jesus Christ and to provide an environment that facilitates the strengthening of believers. Each member, like every disciple of Christ, is commissioned to be faithful in the worship of God, Christian ministry, and fellowship with believers. We will continually look to God for power and direction to chart our course. The following persons have been called to serve as leaders and enablers by the congregation.
