Our goal this year for the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship Offering for Global Missions is $7,000.00. For each $100.00 given a candle will be lit on the display on either side of the pulpit. Please give generously so that others may know the light of Christ.
Today is the last day for ordering Christmas Poinsettias.
The Trustees will meet this Thursday at 7:00 pm.
The Deacons Christmas luncheon will take place this Saturday, December 4th, at 12:30, at the Wild Orchid Café.
A Pastor’s Class for those who have recently joined Heritage, and anyone interested in learning more about our church, will take place on Sunday, December 5th, at 9:15 am. Please come to the pastor’s office.
Attention All Senior Adults! Please join us in celebrating our Savior’s birth at the Senior Adult Christmas luncheon on Tuesday, December 7th, at 11:30. There will be a delicious meal prepared by Chef Zachary Pope, a poem reading by Florence Haney, a musical program by Ralph Manuel and warm fellowship. Be thinking about a special Christmas memory that you would like to share with the group. Please bring non-perishable items for the church food pantry. A sign up sheet is posted on the bulletin board across from the kitchen.
On Sunday, December 12th, with prayerful consideration, you are asked to indicate your commitment to support our 2011 budget by filling out a Commitment Card and bringing it to the church.
The church’s December business meeting will take place on Wednesday, the 15th, at 6:30 pm. Among other matters the 2011 budget will be presented for approval and the election of 2011 Officers and Committees.
