The Red Rose on the communion table is in announcement of the birth of Molly Jean, daughter born to Maria and Richard Boord on November 29, 2010. She joins sister Bella and brothers Aiden, Hunter and Jackson.

Our goal this year for the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship Offering for Global Missions is $7,000.00.  For each $100.00 given a candle will be lit on the display on either side of the pulpit.  Please give generously.

Senior Adults will have their Christmas luncheon this Tuesday beginning at 11:30 am.  Don’t forget to bring non-perishable items for the church’s food pantry (spaghetti sauce is especially needed).  A sign up sheet is posted on the bulletin board across from the kitchen.

Wednesday’s dinner the cooks will be serving beef brisket, potatoes, green beans and dessert.

This Thursday, the Knit Chics will have a Christmas Luncheon at the home of Edie Stucker at 12 noon.

This Saturday, December 11th, at 8 am, there will be a Men’s Country Christmas Breakfast and a time of sharing favorite Christmas remembrances as well as Christmas songs and good cheer. Please bring a box of cereal for the church’s food pantry.  A sign up sheet is posted on the bulletin board by the lounge.

On Sunday, December 12th, with prayerful consideration, you are asked to indicate your commitment to support our 2011 budget by filling out a Commitment Card and bringing it to the church.

The church’s December business meeting will take place on Wednesday, the 15th, at 6:30 pm.  The 2011 budget will be presented for approval, the election of 2011 Officers and Committees, and recommendations from the Visioning Task Force.

Sign up today to participate in our Living Nativity Drive Thru.  It will take place on Thursday, December 16th and Friday, December 17th, from 7-8 pm.  Please check the bulletin board across from the church office to sign up.  Christmas cookies are also needed.  Please bring them to the kitchen by December 15th marked accordingly.

HBC Handy Man Crew: If you are interested in helping others with small projects, a sign up sheet is posted on the bulletin board near the church office.  We are forming a group to help members and others in the community who need small jobs done but unable to do the work themselves.  If you have a special skill or just some free time to help we need you to sign up today.
