The white rose on the communion table is in memory of Ivyl Rowland who passed away on February 20th.  She was the sister of Irene White.

Wednesday’s dinner Chef Zach will be serving Tomato Basil Soup, Braised Pork with Apples and Onions, Parsley Potatoes and Peas, and Cake.

Rehearsals have begun for our Easter Cantata!  Anyone is welcome to come and sing with us.  Rehearsals are on Wednesdays from 7:15 to 7:45 pm.  For further information contact Ralph Manuel.

The Leadership Council will meet this Thursday at 7 pm.

Cross Cultures Workshop: The DC Baptist Convention is offering this workshop on Saturday, March 5th, from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm.  Interested in ministering internationally – in Haiti and elsewhere?  This workshop is especially designed for you to prepare: The Country and People, Community Life, and Religion of Haiti. The Annual Meeting of the Mid-Atlantic Cooperative Baptist Fellowship will take place on Sunday, March 6, from 5-7 pm, at the Montgomery Hills Baptist Church, 9727 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring, Maryland.  Dinner will be provided and a nursery will be available. The Men’s Prayer Breakfast will take place on Saturday, March 12th, at 8 o’clock.  The guest speaker will be a representative from Camp Wabanna in Edgewater.  Watch for a sign up sheet and plan to come for good food and fellowship.
