When the music for “Jesus Loves Me” begins all children grades K through 5 may join the minister in the front of the sanctuary before leaving for Faith Quest.
We ask that you please turn off, or put on silent mode, all cell phones and other electronic devices. Additionally, please no food or drinks in the sanctuary.
Nursery care is provided for infants and toddlers birth to 24 months.
Extended care is provided for children 2-5 years of age.

A Night in Bethlehem: Next Friday, December 20th, from 7-9 pm, please join us on a walk through Bethlehem. Come be a part of this Living Nativity and journey through the story of Jesus’ birthday. Along the way you will find Shepherds, Angels, Roman Soldiers and Wise Men. See Mary and Joseph and baby Jesus and visit the animals. Cookies are also needed.
Next Sunday, December 22, our church will present A Night for Rejoicing: A Cantata for Christmas, during the morning worship service. This cantata, written by Lee Dengler and Susan Naus Dengler, features our own Heritage Choir, with narration, soloists, and chamber orchestra. Make plans to come and be a part of this musical worship experience.
Following the worship service next Sunday, your help would be greatly appreciated in putting up poles and decorating for our Christmas Eve Candlelight Service.
On Tuesday, December 24th, our family-friendly Christmas Eve Service will take place at 7 o’clock. Child care will not be available.
During the week of Christmas the office hours will be as follows: December 23 – 8:30 am–4 pm; December 24 and 25 – closed; December 26 – 8:30 am-12 pm and December 27 – 8:30am–12 pm.
As part of our Strategic Realignment Journey, Rev. Ricky Creech will be conducting interviews with church members and attendees in January. Please put the date that applies to you on your calendar; this may be the best way to get your voice heard and hear what others think as we move forward as a community. Each interview will take place in a small group and last about 45 minutes. On the January 12th and 19th meetings childcare and lunch will be provided. Please try your best to make your assigned group. Sign up sheets are posted on the bulletin board in the hallway. Talk to Kristen Page-Kirby or Lea Hurt with questions. The dates are as follows: Sunday, January 5th, 6:00 pm – college and career and youth; Monday, January 6th, 7:00 pm – Deacons; Sunday, January 12th, following the worship service – new members (those who have been members fewer than three years) and those who attend regularly but are not members; Sunday, January 19th , following the worship service – leadership (those who hold positions of leadership in the church but are not staff, such as Sunday School teachers or committee chairs).
The last day to receive contributions in the office and still get credit for 2013 will be Tuesday, December 31st, at 11:00 am.
Boxed Offering Envelopes for 2014 are available on a table in the narthex. They are in alphabetical order. Please take yours today. If you do not find one with your name on it or you are not getting envelopes and would like to please contact Edie Stucker in the church office.
