Heritage Baptist's FaithQuest Children's Church is an energy-filled, creative way for school age children to hear and understand God's Word.
Children learn differently than adults. That was one of the ideas behind HBC's FaithQuest Children's Church. Each Sunday (except for the first Sunday of the month*) children from kindergarten through 5th grade are dismissed from 10:30 morning worship in the sanctuary immediately after the doxology. Following group leaders, they travel down the hall to the Youth Room for worship and activity geared toward their way of learning. One week they might see a Bible skit with costumed volunteer actors, while the next week they might conduct a science experiment linked to a scripture concept. It's all about creativity, movement and God!
If you are new to our church, and would like your child (kindergarten through 5th grade) to take part in FaithQuest, welcome! After the offering is collected and the doxology sung, look for the exodus of children leaving the sanctuary by the left front exit where a volunteer will be holding a large "FaithQuest" sign. Immediately after worship is over, you may exit through those same doors to the Youth Room where your child will be waiting to share his adventure with you!

*The first Sunday of each month, Heritage celebrates the Lord's Supper. We invite families to participate in this as a teachable moment for children. If you'd like more information on discussing the Lord's Supper, or Communion, with your child, please contact Rev. Henry Green at 410.263.6680 or
