The Backpack Buddies local mission project is very active and continues to grow.  With your support and generous donations from the Annapolis Rotary Club and the Maryland Teachers' Association, we have been able to purchase additional backpacks and shelving for the food storage.

By Rev. Henry Green--  I don't know about you, but I am getting real tired of the snow!  I love the changing of the seasons and I like a little snow, but I did not come to Annapolis to live in Buffalo, NY, and point of fact, we got more snow than they did this year! 

Thanks to everyone who joined us Sunday for the 4th Annual SOUPer Bowl Lunch to benefit the Annapolis Light House Shelter. We raised $1300 for this worthy cause!  Read on for details and check out our picture gallery for photos by Charles Phillips!

Calling all Knitters  and "Want to be" Knitters! The Knit Chicks have committed themselves to knitting scarves for the children in the Backpack Buddies program for Christmas 2010. 

Last month I indicated that I did not like to make resolutions, but that goals are a necessary and important part of how we hope to accomplish our objectives for the New Year.
