Saturday, June 6 from 5-7 PM and Sunday, June 7 from 12-2 PM, Heritage will host a showcase of artists at the church's fellowship hall
Linnell Bowen, Executive Director of Maryland Hall, will be a special guest at the 10:30 AM Sunday morning service and will have brief remarks on the importance of the arts in Annapolis. Admission to all events is free. Complimentary refreshments will be served.
Some of the works displayed will be available for purchase, with a portion of the purchase price going to the church's Backpack Buddies program. Through Backpack Buddies, Heritage sends nutritious food home with low-income children at Georgetown East Elementary who rely on school breakfast and lunch program. NOTE: If you have signed up to display your artwork at this showing, please bring it to the church between 10 AM and 12 PM on Saturday, June 6. Volunteers will be available to register your items at that time.
