Sunday, April 18, HBC's men showed mad baking skills at the annual church Men's Bakeoff.  Entrants from all age categories offered sweet treats for judges Barbara Munz, Vicki Robertson and Sarah Theis.  It was a close call, but when the flour dust settled, results were as follows:

• 1st- Young Patrick Pope - Coconut Berry Funfetti Cake
• 2nd - Tie: Everett Golihew - Heavenly Strawberry Cake and Clair Morehead- Chocolate Berries and Cream Cake
• 3rd - Clyde Morehead - Honey Lemon Pineapple Cake
• Honorable Mention: Melvin Howard Jr. - Pound Cake
