HBC's Knit Chicks will kick off the 07-08 season Thursday, Sept. 20, at 1 PM in the church lounge. This wildly popular class will keep you in stitches! Beginners welcome! Miss the first class? Beginning project: Aran Scarf
Supplies needed: 2 ounces sport yarn
No. 5 knitting needles (short)
Stitch holder
Row counter
(double pointed needle will be provided)
Stitches in scarf: garter, cable, twist (Don't let this scare you! Edie will walk you through step-by-step.)
 Beginners are welcome.
You will learn: Cast on
Knit stitch
Purl stitch
Increase, decrease
Bind off
Then you are ready to knit a dish cloth using these stitches.
