Next Sunday, our Adult Choir will perform in a Choral Festival Concert in the U.S. Naval Academy Chapel. Our choir will be part of the festival choir, made up of singers from twenty Annapolis-area churches. The concert, which begins at 7:00 pm, is free and open to the public.
Please take note of the following schedule for this Wednesday, October 31st. The only activities here will be prayer meeting at 6:30 pm, and adult choir rehearsal at 7:15 pm.
The Trustees will meet this Thursday at 7 o'clock.
The Men's Prayer Breakfast will take place this Saturday at 8 am. There will be a guest speaker and the best old fashioned country breakfast you have had in a long time. In order for the cooks to know how many to prepare for a sign up sheet is posted on the bulletin board by the church office.
A Reminder: Daylight Saving Time ends next Sunday, November 4th. Remember to fall back, and enjoy an extra hour of sleep!
Our Fall Fun Fest was a huge success and everyone who helped played a roll in making this one of the best years ever! Thanks to everyone who helped with stuffing candy bags, decorating, baking cookies, and participating on Saturday. We couldn't have done it without your help!
Operation Christmas Child: Christmas is about sharing the gift of God's Son, Jesus Christ, with the world. You can share Christ with needy children around the world by bringing a shoe box filled with toys and other small gifts to church over the next two weeks. Complete details are in the Operation Christmas Child brochure that you will find on a table in the narthex. Don't forget to bring your shoe box gift to church by November 12th. What a perfect gift to give in honor of Jesus' birthday!
Parents! All children, 5th grade and below, must be accompanied by an adult any time they leave the sanctuary for any reason. The church doors remain open to the public during services, and we must take every precaution to keep the children of Heritage safe at all times. Thank you for helping us provide a safe and nurturing environment for our children.
November 4: Extended Session Workers: Greeter: Amy Henry; Nursery: Rosa Glover and Catherine Irwin; Preschool: Carri Campbell and Jackie Pool. Van Driver: Pete Mager. Pianist: Donna Manuel. Closing Prayer: Doug Lacefield.

OUR MISSION
We believe Heritage Baptist Church exists to be a beacon reflecting God's unconditional love in Annapolis and surrounding communities. Using the Bible as our guide, our purpose is to share the Gospel message so that others may become followers of Jesus Christ and to provide an environment that facilitates the strengthening of believers. Each member, like every disciple of Christ, is commissioned to be faithful in the worship of God, Christian ministry, and fellowship with believers. We will continually look to God for power and direction to chart our course.
