Registration for the 2008-2009 program at Heritage Learning Center will be open as follows:
Jan. 6-13 Priority registration for members of Heritage Baptist Church
Jan. 14-1 Priority registration for returning students & siblings of current & former students
Jan. 22-25 Registration opens to new students
All enrollment applications must be returned in the envelope attached to the registration form. Applications in different envelopes will be rejected. Please check off the appropriate box on the envelope, but make no other marks on the envelope. The envelopes may be brought to the school office from 9:00-3:00 on Monday (except MLK day) through Friday of the specified week and placed in the box designated for the enrollment applications. If you would rather mail your envelope you must place it inside another envelope which may be addressed to the school. We will open it and place the inner envelope in the box. At the end of the week the envelopes in the box will be well "stirred" and envelopes chosen at random and numbered. If you are enrolling two or more children from the same family, please put all applications in the same envelope. Classes will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. When possible, classes will be filled with an equal number of girls and boys.
DO NOT return your envelope before the first date of your "category". Envelopes returned early will not be placed in the lottery!!
When filling out the enrollment application, please mark 1st, 2nd, 3rd and even 4th choice if available. In the event that some classes are already filled or do not receive sufficient enrollment, we will be able to place your child in the alternative class of your choice. You'll be notified as soon as possible of placement. You must pay the first month's tuition by March 1, 2008. In this way you will accept the placement and THIS PAYMENT WILL BE NON-REFUNDABLE. If the first tuition payment is not received by March 1 we will assume you are not accepting the placement and we will offer the place to someone on the wait list.
Please note that if your child turns three in the fall you may choose either the "Fall 3's" or "Two's" class. Children in the "Fall 3's" should be toilet trained. This class is technically a two year old class and subject to all privileges and restrictions of the other two year old classes. Since there are two classes of "two year olds" meeting each day, we will be having an older and a younger group and the curriculum will be geared to the needs of the group. We will place your child depending on the numbers of children in each age group.
Please fill out the enclosed enrollment application completely. The application must be signed and accompanied by the $85.00 registration fee ($80.00 for children in the Friday only class). Applications submitted without the registration fee will not be accepted. The first month's tuition will be due by March 1, 2008. Thereafter tuition payments are due the first of every month, June through January.
We are grateful for your continuing support of our program and we hope to see you and your child next fall. If you have not visited our program we urge you to do so at your convenience. REMEMBER, CLASSES ARE EXPECTED TO FILL RAPIDLY SO PLEASE ACT EARLY TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT.
