Fellowship: Following the morning service, everyone is invited to step across to the fellowship hall where cookies and punch will be served.
Today is the last day that the offering collected in Faith Quest will go towards purchasing primary school uniforms for South African children graduating from the Touch Life Center in Johannesburg, South Africa. If your child was planning to contribute, but has not had a chance to do so, contributions can be dropped off in the church office on Monday, December 17th.
This will be the last week for our Wednesday night activities for this year. They will resume again on January 2, 2008.
Sign up today to participate in our Living Nativity. It will take place on the east lawn this Thursday and Friday. There will be two showings a night at 7 and 7:30. Participants are still needed in several areas. Please check the bulletin board across from the church office. Cookies are also needed. All participants are asked to be in the youth room at 6 pm.
The Meerman's invite you to their Holiday Open House this Thursday from 7-9 pm to benefit Food Link's Baby Pantry. Stop by 102 Colony Crossing, Edgewater - bring the kids, friends, and neighbors, you'll find a Christmas village, bears, snowmen, elves and so much more to delight you. If you are able, please bring a baby pantry item (formula, baby food, diapers, wipes, shampoo, lotion, etc) to the Open House. A collection bin will be located at the front door. Refreshments will be served. For more information, contact Ginny Meerman at 410-798-0124.
The time is coming for our Adult Choir Christmas musical, "One Small Child." This will be presented next Sunday, December 23, during the morning worship service. Make plans to come and bring some guests.
All children in kindergarten through grade 5 are invited to celebrate the birth of Jesus on Sunday, December 23rd in Faith Quest with Bible stories, activities and of course...birthday cake! Don't miss out! Be there to help other Faith Quest kids wish Jesus a very Happy Birthday!
Your help would be greatly appreciated next Sunday, December 23rd, following the morning worship service, in putting up poles for the candles for our Christmas Eve Service.
On Christmas Eve greenery and bows will be placed on the poles. If you are available to help we will begin at 9 am.
On Monday, December 24th, our family-friendly Christmas Eve service will take place at 7 pm. Child care will not be available. Everyone is invited to this candlelight communion service.
Boxed Offering Envelopes for 2008 are available on a table in the narthex. They are in alphabetical order. Please take yours today. If you do not find one with your name on it or you are not getting envelopes, and would like to please contact Edie Stucker in the church office.
Calendars for 2008 are also available on a table in the narthex.
Contributions: The last day to receive contributions for the year 2007, and still get credit for this year, will be December 30th Sunday morning offering.

We believe Heritage Baptist Church exists to be a beacon reflecting God's unconditional love in Annapolis and surrounding communities. Using the Bible as our guide, our purpose is to share the Gospel message so that others may become followers of Jesus Christ and to provide an environment that facilitates the strengthening of believers. Each member, like every disciple of Christ, is commissioned to be faithful in the worship of God, Christian ministry, and fellowship with believers. We will continually look to God for power and direction to chart our course.
