The Story of a Life: Creating a Testimony
Every person has a story; a story may include information about the family, their occupation, their likes and dislikes. But for Christians, a person's story probably includes information about when they first accepted Christ and times during their life when they have seen God work.
The apostle Paul gave his testimony in Galatians. After his conversion on the road to Damascus, he dedicated his life to sharing the story of Christ and the saving grace of faith. He was never ashamed and always enthusiastic about sharing his testimony. We should have the same enthusiasm! Nothing should hinder us from exclaiming the truth of Christ to all we come into contact with. But first, we must have a testimony. A testimony can be anything you want it to be, there are no rules. But it is important that you have one because you never know when you will be presented with an opportunity to share how God has impacted your life with a friend, a co-worker, a family member, or anyone else. So be ready! It will be one of the most exciting things you will ever do!
