Today marks the fourth anniversary of Ralph Manuel as our Minister of Music.  He and his wife Donna and their children, James and Melissa, mean so much to us.  We love and appreciate all you do!

The Ladies Sunday School class began a 6-week Bible study today titled "The Frazzled Female" by Cindie Wood.  The study is described as a resource designed especially for women.  "By sitting at the feet of Jesus and absorbing His teaching, women will be able to deal with essential issues like managing their time, getting along with difficult people, taking time for themselves, and even organizing their lives."  It is described as thought-provoking yet light-hearted.  Interested ladies are invited to join the class for this study.  Please contact Barbara Smith or any class member if interested.

SOUP-er Bowl Sunday to benefit Shelter-Before the Patriots and Giants battle for the NFL today, do something good for yourself and the community!  Heritage is hosting a Soup-er Bowl fund raiser for the Annapolis Light House Shelter for the homeless, immediately following today's worship service.  Chef Zachary Pope has prepared a selection of hearty soups and chili (along with salad and dessert) for lunch in the fellowship hall.  Admission is free, but donations are requested to benefit the Light House Shelter.

Youth Super Bowl Party: Come join the Youth Group today for the Annual HBC Super Bowl party at the Green's home.  The fun starts at 5 pm as we prepare for the kickoff with finger foods and fellowship.  Please bring a 2-liter of soda and come prepared to cheer for your favorite team!

Wednesday's dinner Chef Zach will be serving a Greek Salad and Grape Leaf Rolls, Seared chicken with rice and zucchini/yellow squash, and Baklava.  This coincides with the Albanians in Greece Missions.

The Trustees will meet this Thursday evening at 7 o'clock.

Mark your calendars for Heritage (All Ages) Game Night on Friday, February 15th, from 7-9pm in the youth room.  Table games will be provided, or you may bring your own.

Attention all Parents!  If you have a teenager we would like your input on the Youth Ministry at HBC.  Please plan to join us for a lunch meeting after the service next Sunday, February 10th.  We will be talking about spring activities, fund raising, and summer camp!  We are also inviting anyone who is interested in helping with HBC Ministries and Outreach to join us as well.

Please join us for good food and fellowship on Wednesday, February 13th, at 5:45 pm, for our Valentine "Love Connection" Banquet.  Chef Zach has planned a delicious meal, and you won't want to miss a live version of the Newly Wed/Oldie Wed Game and more!  If you plan to attend a sign up sheet is posted on the bulletin board by the church office.  The only other activity that evening will be Adult Choir Rehearsal.

On Thursday, February 28th, a group from our church will be volunteering at Food and Friends in Washington, DC.  We will be preparing meals for this ministry to people with terminal diseases such as cancer and HIV/AIDS.  We will meet at the church at 8:50 am, travel via the church van, and return around 4 pm.  If you are interested in participating in this volunteer opportunity, the sign up sheet is located on the Mission bulletin board outside the kitchen door.

If you plan to join the Youth Group at Passport this summer, make sure you sign up!!  The sign up sheet is on the youth bulletin board across from the kitchen, and the deadline for signing up is next Sunday, February 10th.
