Easter is a wonderful time at Heritage Learning Center. Read on for information about the upcoming Easter parties and how you can participate...
Easter Parties
For our Easter parties on March 18th & 19th (14th for F 2's) each child will need to bring in 3 hard-boiled eggs. If you have a few extra to throw in the pot when boiling your three, we can always use extra eggs as someone is bound to forget. Pack the eggs in an egg carton taped shut or in a margarine tub, cushioned by paper towels.
Please use eggs that you have boiled yourself at home. The commercially prepared hard boiled eggs have a wax coating that resists the dye.
The eggs will be dyed that day and then the "Easter Bunny" (who will volunteer for each class....hint, hint) will hide them for the children to find. The children should each be returning home with 3 eggs in the basket they will have made at school. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that they will return with the same 3 eggs you sent in, so please use the eggs for decoration only and eat others you have had at home all along.
This is fun for the children...especially if the weather is warm and sunny, a long shot when Easter is so early, but definitely not impossible.
