The flowers this morning are in thanksgiving to God - from the Clyde Morehead Family.


All parents with students in the youth program, or church members interested in helping with the youth ministry, are invited to a lunch meeting today, immediately following the worship service, to discuss upcoming activities for the next quarter.


The Church Staff and members of the Leadership Council will have a meeting this Tuesday from 7:00-8:30 pm for the purpose of planning for the fall and calendaring for 2009.


Your help is needed in providing a Wednesday evening meal (food and drink) for our youth and their families during July and August.  The meal is served from 5:30-6:00 in the youth room.  For dates please check the bulletin board across from the kitchen.


Softball at Heritage:  Heritage has joined five other area churches for the Greater Annapolis Ministerium Softball League. Games are on Mondays and Wednesdays beginning at 6:30 pm through June and July.  All players must be at least 14 years of age in 2008. All fields are at the Annapolis Middle School.  See Everett if you would like to play. Everyone is invited to come and cheer the team to victory.


There will be a mandatory meeting of all Vacation Bible School Workers on Saturday, June 28th beginning at 11 am.   Materials will be distributed at this time. If you haven't signed up to help yet check the bulletin board across from the church office.


Robert and Shelby Mitchell are hosting the youth group Pool Party and BBQ this Saturday following a Video Scavenger Hunt. Everyone is asked to bring a chair, towel, and a side dish.  Hot dogs, hamburgers, and sodas will be provided.  Ladies...one-piece suits only!!


Independence Celebration, Sunday July 6th, immediately following the morning worship service.  Come dressed for a picnic as we study the Bible, worship, and celebrate the birth of our nation with pony rides, fun, food and activities.  The picnic will take place on the church grounds.  The cost is $5.00 for youth and adults, $1.00 for children, and a maximum of $14.00 per family.  Meat, drinks and eating utensils will be provided.  You are asked to bring a couple of your favorite foods to share (vegetable, salad, dessert), and your lawn chairs, or blankets.


Heritage's Vacation Bible School is just around the corner. It will take place July 7-11, from 9 am - 12:30 pm. Come and have a blast as we discover Jesus' miraculous power with amazing Bible adventures, unforgettable songs, memory-making crafts and life-changing missions.  Preschool classes are full but there is still room for grades 1-5.  Forms are available in the narthex or in the church office.
