There will be no softball game this Wednesday.

Summer Choir will not rehearse this week.

The Trustees will meet this Thursday, July 3rd, at 7 pm.

The church office will be closed on Friday in observance of Independence Day.

Independence Day Celebration, Sunday July 6th, immediately following the morning worship service.  Come dressed for a picnic as we study the Bible, worship, and celebrate the birth of our nation with pony rides, fun, food and activities.  The picnic will take place on the church grounds.  The cost is $5.00 for youth and adults, $1.00 for children, and a maximum of $14.00 per family.  Meat, drinks and eating utensils will be provided.  You are asked to bring a couple of your favorite foods to share (vegetable, salad, dessert), and your lawn chairs, or blankets.

Vacation Bible School is just around the corner. It will take place July 7-11, from 9 am - 12:30 pm. Children will have a blast  discovering Jesus' miraculous power with amazing Bible adventures, unforgettable songs, memory-making crafts and life-changing missions.

Habitat News: Save the date! August 9th, 3:30-4:00 will be the dedication of Arundel Habitat's 100th house at 204 Clay Street.  Lorraine Williams will be presented with the key to her house and a Bible, and visitors can tour her home.  This will be followed by a celebration at the garden area of Adams Academy (the school at the end of Clay Street) from 4:30-7:00 pm.  Join us for hot dogs, hamburgers, music and fun for the whole family!  Plan to attend and celebrate Heritage's mission service in our community. July 12th and 19th are still available to build or provide lunch.  A sign up sheet is posted on the Habitat bulletin board by the church lounge.

OUR MISSION

We believe Heritage Baptist Church exists to be a beacon reflecting God's unconditional love in Annapolis and surrounding communities.  Using the Bible as our guide, our purpose is to share the Gospel message so that others may become followers of Jesus Christ and to provide an environment that facilitates the strengthening of believers.  Each member, like every disciple of Christ, is commissioned to be faithful in the worship of God, Christian ministry, and fellowship with believers.  We will continually look to God for power and direction to chart our course.
