The Red Rose on the communion table is in glad announcement of the birth of Aroura Sue, daughter born to David and Cheryl Copeland on July 2nd. The happy grandparents are Hilda and Ed Copeland.
Several of our youth and leaders will be traveling to Passport Camp at Gordon College in the Boston area this week. Please remember them in your prayers as they travel and during the week. They will return on Saturday, July 19th.
Sally and Clair Morehead are on vacation and will return to work on Monday, July 21st. In Mrs. Morehead's absence Edie Stucker will be in the church office. Her hours will be 8am-12 noon and
1-4 pm.
This Wednesday, July 16, Ralph Manuel will share details concerning his recent trip to Brazil. This will be at the regular prayer meeting time, 6:00 p.m. All are invited to come.
If you have an article you would like included in the church's newsletter for August, please have it in the office by Friday, July 18th.

Saturday, August 9th, from 3:30-4:00 pm, will be the dedication of Arundel Habitat's 100th house at 204 Clay Street. Lorraine Williams will be presented with the key to her house and a Bible, and visitors can tour her home. This will be followed by a celebration at the garden area of Adams Academy (the school at the end of Clay Street) from 4:30-7:00 pm.
The church's August business meeting will take place on Wednesday, the 13th at 6 pm. Among other matters Sunday School Officers and Teachers will be presented for the 2008-09 Sunday School year. If you are a committee chairperson, please let the office know no later than Friday, August 9th, your intent to present input from your committee. If presenting a motion a written copy must be given to the office that same Friday.

OUR MISSION
We believe Heritage Baptist Church exists to be a beacon reflecting God's unconditional love in Annapolis and surrounding communities. Using the Bible as our guide, our purpose is to share the Gospel message so that others may become followers of Jesus Christ and to provide an environment that facilitates the strengthening of believers. Each member, like every disciple of Christ, is commissioned to be faithful in the worship of God, Christian ministry, and fellowship with believers.
