Join us in celebrating Easter. We have many opportunities for celebration and worship. Read on for details...
Wednesday, March 9, 6:45 PM- Ash Wednesday service: Ash Wednesday is the first day of the season called Lent, which is a time for special devotion to God, a time to refocus on our relationship with Christ. During this season people may choose to put aside things that might distract them from their communion with God. Lent extends from Ash Wednesday through the day before Easter. “Ash Wednesday” is so called because the service typically involves the use of ashes as a symbol of our mortality and need of Christ’s saving grace. While our service at Heritage will be differ from what is familiar from other faith traditions, it is highly meaningful for the season.
